존 덴버는 미국의 가수이다. 본명은 헨리 존 도이첸도르프 주니어이다.
1970년대에 고향을 그리는 <Take Me Home, Country Roads>와 아내에 대한 사랑을 노래한 <Annie's Song>으로 인기를 얻었다.
1997년 10월 12일 경비행기를 조종하다 캘리포니아주 몬터레이 만 인근에서 추락하여 사망하였다.
